While with another firm, key TiG personnel developed a PSR for a privately funded interchange improvement project associated with a proposed development of over 1 million square feet of retail and commercial development in north Redding. Provided extensive coordination with District 2 senior management and Advance Planning, other District functional units, City of Redding engineering managers, FHWA and traffic consultants. Also responsible for development of preliminary geometric drawings and construction cost estimates. As envisioned, the project will expand the existing diamond interchange to accommodate high volume ramps, ramp metering, addition of a loop ramp, replacement of the existing 2 lane overcrossing structure with an 8 lane structure, and local street improvements.
TiG staff also coordinated with Developer and City staff to develop information associated with City’s TIGER grant application.
