RESIDENT ENGINEER/
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Quincy Engineering is looking for a Resident Engineer to support the growth of our construction management group. If you join our team, you will oversee a team of internal and external staff, including, other construction managers, inspectors, and documentation specialists.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead construction services teams on transportation and utility infrastructure projects

  • Coordinate with internal staff, as well as subconsultant team members 

  • Act as main point of contact for both clients and contractors during construction phase 

  • Assume responsibility for overseeing and documenting quality of construction 

  • Manage internal project budgets and schedules 

  • Manage construction project budgets and schedules 

  • Perform daily construction and contract management duties 

  • Must be able to flourish in a team dynamic 

  • Excel at communicate with both clients and contractors 

  • Must possess valid drivers license in good standing

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in construction management, inspection, (10+ years preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Caltrans plans and specifications experience (preferred)
