Jim Thornton, a licensed professional surveyor, has 13 years of multi-disciplined experience. He has completed an extensive array of surveying projects throughout California for both public and private entities in nearly every capacity from field surveyor to survey manager. As a Survey Manager, Jim has managed and trained survey crews and office staff, implemented surveying procedures and standards for accuracy and streamlined functions, and provided quality assurance/quality control. Well-versed in both the business and technical aspects of land surveying, he has been responsible for preparing proposals, client relations, governmental agency correspondence, research, field work and drafting.
