For the past 33 years, Karen Tatman has served as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Design Engineer, including thirteen years with Caltrans, on transportation projects in California and Oregon. Her attention to detail on every project has positioned her in a lead role for Quality Assurance/Quality Control for all Quincy work products. As a Project Manager, she has been responsible for more than $200 million in highway improvement projects in the Project Planning, Design, and Construction phases of project development. Her extensive hands-on experience preparing project planning studies, preliminary design and final plans, specifications and estimates on a range of transportation projects has allowed her to successfully manage projects with complex stage construction designs, and extensive public outreach efforts.
