Congratulations to Quincy + Murraysmith’s very own Michele Johnson, PE, who recently received the prestigious Member of the Year award from the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Northern California. Michele is a Senior Civil Engineer, Project Manager, and Team Lead for staff in our Bay Area offices, with over 19 years of experience in roadway, highway, and bicycle and pedestrian projects.

 

Collaborating in teams and making a positive impact on the community is what drew Michele to COMTO. She has been a COMTO Norcal member since 2009. Over the years, Michele has helped plan special programs for the Northern California chapter. She chaired one and served on multiple Annual Scholarship Awards event committees, organized a joint COMTO/WTS event, sat on a career night panel at EOYDC, and participated in other career nights. Michele is always willing to lend a hand to help make COMTO events a success, which is one of the many reasons she received the 2020 Member of the Year award. We are so proud of Michele and the hard work, commitment, and dedication to incredible organizations like COMTO that she supports.
