NILES BOULEVARD OVERHEAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
FREMONT, CA
Quincy provided a Control Network and performed construction staking services for the replacement of an overhead bridge and roadway approaches located on Niles Boulevard in Fremont. The bridge crosses over BART and UPRR right of way, and as a result, Quincy had to adhere to strict guidelines while performing staking for the bridge bents and abutments. Quincy surveyors performed construction staking activities including, but not limited to: detention basins, swales and other drainage features, utilities and associated structures, curb, gutter and sidewalk, slope staking for the roadway approaches along with other appurtenant structures. Monitoring surveys were performed for the railroad tracks to ensure construction activities did not alter the horizontal or vertical alignment of the tracks.

GREEN ISLAND ROAD WIDENING
AMERICAN CANYON, CA
Quincy provided professional surveying, mapping and right-of-way engineering in support of PS&E for the Green Island Road widening project (appx. 5,600 feet). This included establishing GPS control network suitable for acquisition of Ortho-Rectified Imagery and highly accurate base mapping utilizing LiDAR methods and technology; supplementing base mapping with field surveys to locate utilities, pertinent features and areas critical to design process; conducting boundary surveys to determine existing right of way and adjoining parcel lines from which a land net was developed to facilitate the right-of-way engineering and acquisition process; preparing Appraisal/Hard Copy Mapping due to the large number of parcels and numerous acquisitions involved; and preparing all final right-of-way engineering acquisition documents and ultimately filing a Record of Survey to monument the newly acquired right of way and identify the limits of the acquisition parcels.

TRACON SOLAR PANELS
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA
Quincy was selected as the project survey team by REC Solar for the newly constructed solar array installation at the TRACON facility adjacent to Mather Air Force Base, a decommissioned U.S. Air Force Base located in Rancho Cordova, CA. The Northern California Terminal Radar Approach Control Facility (NCT) is an air traffic control facility owned and operated by the FAA that controls airspace over 19,000 square miles and provides safety alerts for airports between Hawaii and Reno, including Sacramento and San Francisco International Airports. The project included the installation of nearly four acres of new solar arrays and associated facilities capable of producing 994 kW’s of energy on the Federal site. Quincy’s surveyors completed design level topographic and utility surveys required for the extensive network of solar arrays. Quincy also performed construction staking for site improvements which included over 500 foundations to support the solar panels and prepared an ALTA/ACSM Survey for the project site.

KAISER PERMANENTE
HUB & CANCER CENTER
DUBLIN, CA
Quincy performed construction staking services for the future Kaiser Permanente Cancer Center in Dublin, CA. The project site is approximately 20 acres and included over 17,000 linear feet of underground utilities and associated structures. To maintain critical tolerances associated with the numerous utility crossings and minimal slope of various utilities, a control network was established and used for all subsequent survey activities. The construction schedule for the site was delayed multiple times due to inclement weather, which in turn, put the project on an accelerated timeline but Quincy adhered to the demanding schedule and all utilities were completed within the allotted timeframe.
